Annual Report 2021-2022 Tabled in Parliament
The Office of the Governor Annual Report 2021-2022 has been tabled in Parliament and is now available.
The report provides a wonderful insight into the variety and high tempo of the Governor’s constitutional, ceremonial, and community duties, including the Vice-Regal constitutional role of maintaining stable executive government in Queensland.
Along with delivering only the 26th transition of Vice-Regal representatives in 162 years, in the last financial year the Office also provided support for 1,080 constitutional, ceremonial and community activities, while Government House welcomed a total of 21,261 visitors to the Estate.
The annual report is an integral part of the Office of the Governor’s corporate governance framework and describes the achievements, performance, outlook and financial position of the Office for the 2021 - 2022 financial year.
The report is a key accountability document and the principal way in which the Office reports on activities and provides a full and complete picture of its performance to Parliament and the wider community.
