Her Excellency grants Assent to Bills
The Governor received the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honourable Patrick Weir MP, the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, and the Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Andrew Hawkins, for the presentation of two Appropriation bills and one Bill for Royal Assent.

Governor grants Assent to Electrical Safety Bill
The Governor received the Clerk of the Queensland Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, who presented the Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025, to which Her Excellency granted Royal Assent.
