Glenn Donald McGrath AO among those presented with honours

On 16 September 2024, the Governor hosted one of several Investiture Ceremonies held at Government House in Brisbane to confer Australian Honours and Awards on deserving Queenslanders.

Among those presented with their awards was Mr Glenn Donald McGrath AO, appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for his distinguished service to community health through breast cancer support, and to cricket as an international coach.

Ten recipients were appointed as Members of the Order of Australia, including local business identity, Ms Sarina Russo AM, recognised for her significant service to business, to the community, and to vocational education and training.
