Governor attends Commonwealth Day multi-faith service
To help celebrate Commonwealth Day, the Governor attended a multi-faith service at St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane hosted by The Victoria League Brisbane for Commonwealth Friendship, of which she is Patron.
Her Excellency read a Message from His Majesty King Charles III at the annual service, which celebrates the diverse cultures and people of the Commonwealth nations.
A series of events and activities is planned across some 56 independent countries this week to mark the 75th anniversary of the modern Commonwealth.
