Governor grants Assent to a Bill

On 13 December 2024, the Governor received the Clerk of the Queensland Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of the below Bill, to which she granted Royal Assent. The granting of Royal Assent is an integral step in the legislative process.

A bill for an Act to amend the Childrens Court Act 1992, the Criminal Code, the Youth Justice Act 1992 and the legislation mentioned in schedule 1 for particular purposes
