Governor Grants Royal Assent to Bills
Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, today received Mr Neil Laurie, Clerk of the Parliament, for the presentation of the following three Amendment Bills to which Royal Assent was granted, for the first time in the name of King Charles III:
Nature Conservation and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022
A bill for an Act to amend the Forestry Act 1959, the Marine Parks Act 2004, the Nature Conservation Act 1992, the Nature Conservation (Animals) Regulation 2020, the Nature Conservation (Plants) Regulation 2020, the Nature Conservation (Protected Areas Management) Regulation 2017, the Recreation Areas Management Act 2006, the State Penalties Enforcement Regulation 2014 and the Wet Tropics World Heritage Protection and Management Act 1993 for particular purposes.
Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022
A bill for an Act to amend the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 and the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 for particular purposes.
Casino Control and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022
A bill for an Act to amend the Casino Control Act 1982, the Casino Control Regulation 1999, the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999, the Collections Act 1966, the Gaming Machine Act 1991, the Interactive Gambling (Player Protection) Act 1998, the Keno Act 1996, the Lotteries Act 1997, the Wagering Act 1998 and the Wagering Regulation 1999 for particular purposes.
