Governor inaugurates Infravision’s new facility in Noida, India
The Governor has officially inaugurated Infravision’s new office in Noida, India, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Australia-India collaboration in cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.
As an Australian-founded company with its roots firmly planted in Queensland, Infravision is an excellent example of a Queensland business that has dreamed big and taken bold steps in one of the largest and fastest-growing markets in the world.
Through innovation, determination, and strategic partnerships aided by Austrade, Trade and Investment Queensland, and the Queensland Government's Go Global Export Program, Infravision has made remarkable progress in a relatively short amount of time.
Speaking at the inauguration, Her Excellency commented Infravision’s inroads into the Indian market are testament to the growing synergies between Australia and India in the fields of technology, infrastructure, and trade.
“Queensland is home to some of the world’s most innovative businesses, and this milestone exemplifies our commitment to fostering sustainable, high-impact collaborations that drive global infrastructure excellence.
“The new office here in Noida, with plans to scale to 100 employees by 2025, will serve as the central hub for Infravision’s work in India. This growth is not only a success for Infravision but for the strong ties between Queensland and India,” the Governor said.
The inauguration included Her Excellency taking part in a traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Steeped in cultural and spiritual symbolism, the lighting of the diya represented the new building being brought from darkness into light, inviting blessings of wisdom, knowledge and prosperity.
