Governor marks Australia Day in Townsville

The raising of the flags—representing Australia’s national identity and including the Australian National Flag, the Aboriginal Flag, the Torres Strait Islander Flag, the Queensland Flag, and the Townsville Flag—symbolises unity, pride, and respect for the diverse cultural and historical threads that make up the fabric of the nation.
