These visits are an opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of young Queenslanders and support the ongoing growth of educational initiatives across the region.
With two international standard basketball courts, classrooms, a presentation stage, and modern amenities for students and staff, the $18 million facility marks a new chapter in the College’s 27-year history.
Her Excellency said it would serve as a hub for learning, growth, and community, enabling students to not only hone their athletic skills but also develop character through teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship.
After unveiling a plaque dedicated to the opening, the Governor enjoyed a performance by the TSAC Symphony Orchestra, established in 2024 in keeping with the school’s commitment to offering a comprehensive and world-class education in the heart of Ipswich. She also undertook a short tour of the College campus, guided by Principal Steven Morris.
