Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, today received Mr Neil Laurie, Clerk of the Parliament, for the presentation of the following three Bills to which Royal Assent was granted:

Building Units and Group Titles and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022

A bill for an Act to amend the Building Units and Group Titles Act 1980, the Fair Trading Act 1989 and the Mixed Use Development Act 1993 for particular purposes.

Coal Mining Safety and Health and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022

A bill for an Act to amend the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999, the Geothermal Energy Act 2010, the Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2009, the Mineral and Energy Resources (Common Provisions) Act 2014, the Mineral Resources Act 1989, the Mineral Resources Regulation 2013 and the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 for particular purposes.

Betting Tax and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022

A bill for an Act to amend the Betting Tax Act 2018, the Payroll Tax Act 1971, the Racing Act 2002, the Racing Regulation 2013 and the Revenue Legislation Amendment Act 2022 for particular purposes.
