Royal Assent granted to Industrial Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022

Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM has today received the Clerk of Queensland Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, and granted Royal Assent to the Industrial Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022.

Industrial Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022
A bill for an Act to amend the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, the Associations Incorporation Act 1981, the Associations Incorporation Regulation 1999, the Industrial Relations Act 2016 and the Public Trustee Act 1978 for particular purposes.

The granting of Royal Assent is one of the Governor's central constitutional duties, and an integral step in the legislative process.
