Three Bills and Two Appropriation Bills Granted Royal Assent
On 30 August 2024, the Governor received the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP, Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie and Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Michael Watkin for the presentation of the following Bills, to which she granted Royal Assent.

The passing of Appropriation Bills is an important part of Westminster convention, that enables public moneys to be paid from the 'consolidated fund' to the public service, in accordance with Parliament's wishes.
