Vice-Regal couple share season's greetings from the Palace
The Governor and Professor Nimmo were delighted to receive festive correspondence from Their Majesties, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, this Christmas.
The Royal card, sent to extend warm wishes for the holiday season and the New Year, was a gracious gesture of goodwill.
Her Excellency had the privilege of meeting with His Majesty the King on two occasions in 2024.
The first meeting took place at Sandringham, where Her Excellency was in the United Kingdom for official travel en route to Paris, where she represented Queensland at the Olympic Games.
The second occasion was in Sydney, during the King and Queen's official visit to Australia.
These meetings marked significant moments in the year, showcasing the ongoing relationship between Queensland and the British monarchy.
