Vice-Regal Visit to Mackay and Sarina

Marking Her Excellency’s first official visit as Governor, their busy two-day program incorporated several community events and visits to local hospitals and health services, schools, agritourism attractions and even the Mackay Bulk Sugar Terminal – an essential part of the Mackay experience!

The Governor and Professor Nimmo thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet, support and acknowledge the strong and connected communities of Mackay and Sarina, and were truly impressed at the many great initiatives underway that will continue to make the area such a special part of our State.
