On Monday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Government House for Official Travel to Toowoomba Regional Council.

Following, at University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Her Excellency attended the University of Southern Queensland Installation Ceremony of the fifth Chancellor, the Honourable Dr John McVeigh, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Oakey Hospital, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients. 

Following, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to Toowoomba Regional Council.
