On Saturday, in the morning, at I & L Rizzato and Sons Apple Orchard, Pozieres, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Nimmo RFD toured the property.

Following, at Varias Restaurant, Stanthorpe, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received the Mayor, Southern Downs Regional Council, Cr Vic Pennisi for a working lunch.

Following, at the Civic Centre, Stanthorpe, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the Wall of Fruit Display.

Following, on Main Street, Stanthorpe, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival Parade, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo viewed the fireworks on Carnarvon Bridge.
