On Tuesday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Government House for Official Travel to Southern Downs Regional Council.

Following, at Warwick War Memorial, Leslie Park, Her Excellency attended the Centenary Celebrations of the Warwick War Memorial, and the Governor addressed guests, laid a wreath and unveiled a plaque.

In the afternoon, at QCWA Condamine Valley Branch, Warwick, Her Excellency attended a lunch with community representatives of the Southern Downs Regional Council area.

Following, at Freestone Memorial Hall, Freestone, Her Excellency attended the unveiling of the World Wars Honours Board, and the Governor addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.

Following, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to Southern Downs Regional Council.

In the evening, at Customs House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended The University of Queensland’s 2023 End of Year Senate Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
