On Wednesday, in the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Community Christmas Reception, and the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended Opera Australia’s opening night performance of Verdi’s Aida.
