On Thursday, in the morning, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Family History Society Awards Ceremony at their Chermside base, where he presented awards and addressed guests.

Also on Thursday, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a meeting of Executive Council.

In the evening, at Sofitel Brisbane Centre, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Australia China Business Council's annual Chinese Lunar New Year Gala Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
