On Friday, in the morning, at The Embroiderers' Guild Rooms, Fortitude Valley, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended The Embroiderers' Guild Queensland’s Biennial Exhibition ‘Made in Queensland’.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received Chief Executive Officer, St John Ambulance, Mr Peter Maher.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Ballet performance of ‘Coppélia’.
