On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM signed a Message for a Bill.   

Following, at the Queensland Police Academy, Oxley, Her Excellency attended the Queensland Police Service Police Constable Induction Ceremony and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA), Queensland, International Women’s Day event, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Garden Reception in support of International Women’s Day, and the Governor addressed guests.
