On Tuesday, in the morning, at the Thomas Dixon Centre, West End, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Ballet's Official Launch of 'Dance for Veterans', and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, members of The Chinese Fraternity Association of Queensland arrived for a guided tour.

In the afternoon, at the Queensland Children's Hospital, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the announcement of Lady Mayoress Nina Schrinner as Honorary Ambassador of the Children's Hospital Foundation, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, in the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Reception in support of The Prince of Wales Awards, and the Governor presented awards and addressed guests.
