On Saturday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Queensland and the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.

In the afternoon, at Opera Queensland Studio, South Brisbane, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Opera Queensland performance, ‘Speechless’.
