On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, the Governor ceased duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and resumed duty as Governor of Queensland, and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes ceased duty as Acting Governor.

Following, at 1 William St, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before returning to Government House.
