On Friday, in the morning, at the Finch Hatton Showgrounds, Finch Hatton, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended a community breakfast in recognition of bushfire recovery efforts, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Eungella, His Excellency visited the Eungella Chalet.

Following, at the Eungella Memorial Hall, Eungella, His Excellency attended a community morning tea in recognition of bushfire recovery efforts, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, His Excellency visited Eungella State School, and the Governor addressed students and guests.

In the afternoon, at the Campwin Beach SES Shed, Campwin Beach, His Excellency attended a community afternoon tea in recognition of bushfire recovery efforts, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Mackay.
