On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the August 2019 Bravery Announcement and the 2020 Australia Day Honours List: Mr Fred Conway OAM; Sergeant Matthew O’Brien; Sergeant Agnelle Bagetti; Ms Sarah Bradley AO; Mrs Janet Thomas OAM; Ms Vicki McDonald AM; Mr Gregory Williams OAM; Mr Michael Choi OAM; and Dr Murray Garde OAM.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List and the 2020 Australia Day Honours List: Mr John McCoy OAM; Mr William Goodrem OAM; the late Lieutenant Colonel Barry Petersen AM MC (Retd) (received by Mrs Carmel Pascoe); Mr Desmond Hogan OAM; Professor Emeritus Acram Taji AM; Ms Caroline O’Connor AM; Mrs Eleftheria Zografos OAM; Dr Christopher Quinn OAM; and Mr Ian Stewart AO APM.
