In the morning, at South Maclean, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, attended the grand re-opening ceremony of the renovated Sri Selva Vinayakar Koyil Temple Maha Kumbhabisekam, where the Governor participated in a tree planting ceremony, toured the Temple, and delivered an address.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for an official visit to Toowoomba. 

In the evening, in Toowoomba, at the Empire Restaurant, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a dinner, hosted by the Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor, Cr. Paul Antonio and Mrs Judy Antonio, where the Governor was briefed on issues in the Toowoomba region.

Following, at the Empire Theatre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the pre-performance reception and opening night performance of Queensland Ballet’s regional Queensland tourof Coppelia.
