On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC departed Government House for official travel to Winton and Longreach.

In the afternoon, at the Winton Shire Council building, His Excellency received a briefing from Council representatives.

Following, at Winton, His Excellency toured the Waltzing Matilda Centre.

Following, at the Ian Alford Memorial Hut, Longreach, His Excellency visited the Longreach Scout Group, and the Governor presented two medals, donated his Scouts scarf, and addressed guests.
