On Thursday, in the morning, at Multicap, Eight Mile Plains, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Open Minds 110th Celebration in support of National Wattle Day, addressed guests and planted a tree.   

Following, at Government House, members of St Vincent’s Care Services visited for a guided tour of the estate and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted an Afternoon Tea in support of Scouts Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane City Hall, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the 200th Anniversary of Brazilian Independence and the Launch of Brazil Week, and the Governor addressed guests.
