On Wednesday, in the morning, at Roma Street Station, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey boarded the Queensland Rail Steam Train bound for the 139th Royal Queensland Show, ‘The Ekka’.
Following, at the Brisbane Showgrounds, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey, as guests of the RNA President, the Honourable Justice David Thomas and Mrs Jane Thomas, visited ‘The Ekka’ on People’s Day and inspected the fine arts pavilion, attended a luncheon with RNA Honorary Councillors and spouses, watched the grand parade, and presented ribbons for competitors in the Woodchop & Sawing Competition.
