On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided at a meeting of the Executive Council via teleconference.

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Opera Queensland opening night performance of 'Così fan tutte'.
