On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Acting Registrar, Collection and Loans, QAGOMA, Ms Emma Schmeider and Curatorial Manager, Australian Art, Mr Peter McKay.

Following, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited Parliament House and received a guided tour of the building.

In the evening, at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) Foundation annual Christmas celebration, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo greeted members of the public visiting to view the 2022 Government House Christmas Lights display.
