On Sunday, in the afternoon, at the Commissariat Store Museum, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended The Royal Historical Society of Queensland's Separation Day Celebrations, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, members of the public visited to view the 2023 Government House Christmas Lights display.
