On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in support of Queensland Ballet, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr Tim Fairfax AC and Mrs Gina Fairfax; Professor Ian Frazer AC and Mrs Caroline Frazer; Mr Li Cunxin AO and Mrs Mary Li; Mr Trevor St Baker AO and Mrs Judith St Baker; Mrs Kay Van Norton Poche AO; Mrs Barbara Bedwell; Mr Brett Clark and Mrs Maria Clark; Mrs Barbara Duhig; Mrs Cass George; Mrs Catherine Hannagan; Mrs Elizabeth Pidgeon and Mr Graeme Wikman; Ms Rachael Walsh; Ms Dilshani Weerasinghe; and Mrs Kate Hastings.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.
