On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC met members of the Carindale View Club, visiting for a guided tour and morning tea.

Following, at 1 William St, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of White Ribbon Australia, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a formal dinner in honour of the retirement of Ms Cecily Pearson OAM. Guests included: Ms Cecily Pearson OAM and Mr Trevor Farrell OAM; MAJGEN Darryl Low Choy AM MBE RFD (Retd) & Professor Nancy Low Choy; Mr Pat Vidgen PSM & Mrs Helen Vidgen; Professor Ken Smith; Dr Emily Farrell & Mr Graham Maher; Mrs Deb Taylor & Mr Don Taylor; Mrs Cass George; Ms Belinda Macartney; Mrs Narelle Ryan & Mr Geoff Ryan; Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM & Mrs Julie Gower; Ms Rosie Turnbull & Mr Chris Turnbull and Mr Scott Allen.
