On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted students from Bangalow Public School visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Tingalpa, Her Excellency hosted a private Investiture Ceremony for Mr William Horatio Patrick Smith OAM, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, Her Excellency departed Brisbane for official travel to Cairns Regional Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, students from Bangalow Public School visited for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

In the evening, at Centacare FNQ Multicultural Services Hub, Cairns, Her Excellency attended the Cairns Multicultural Women Luminous Lantern Workshop, and the Governor addressed guests.
