On Friday, in the morning, overnight guests departed Government House.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received Mr Michael Reis, Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, for the presentation of bills for Assent.

Following, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception for the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade where His Excellency addressed guests and presented Queen’s Badges and Queen’s Awards.        

Following, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the ‘Multicap Celebrates’ Gala Dinner where His Excellency presented Multicap Staff Excellence Awards.
