On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to Blackall-Tambo Regional Council.  

Following, at Blackall Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff.  

In the afternoon, at Blackall-Tambo Regional Council Office, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing from Blackall-Tambo Regional Council representatives. 

Following, at Blackall Aquatic Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Blackall State School’s swimming carnival, and the Governor addressed students and teachers and presented awards. 

Following, at Bushman’s Artisan Gallery, Blackall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facility and met with staff.  

Following, at Red Ridge Interior Queensland, Blackall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facility and met with staff.  

Following, at Blackall Memorial Park, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo unveiled the ‘Walking with Greta’ statue as part of the She Too Served Project, and the Governor addressed guests.   

In the evening, at Blackall Cultural Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Sister Greta Norman Towner Memorial Gala Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
