On Sunday, in the afternoon, at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Commemorative Service for Nurses who have Died in the Service of Others, and the Governor provided the First Reading and Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo laid the first wreath.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the 2024 Australian Girls Choir Annual Concert.
