On Monday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Bank, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Commonwealth Magistrates’ and Judges’ Association conference, and the Governor officially opened the conference and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable Sir Ian Burnett, Baron Burnett of Maldon PC, and Private Secretary of the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, Ms Amy Shaw.
