In the morning, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a special meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received Mr Paul Turner and LifeFlight Chief of External Affairs and Advocacy, Mr Terry Kempnich. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a reception in support of the English Speaking Union's Roly Sussex Short Story and Secondary School Public Speaking competitions, and the Governor addressed guests and presented awards.
