In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Ambassador-designate to Belgium, the European Union, NATO and Luxembourg, Dr Mark Higgie.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception to celebrate the 2014 Royal Queensland Show.
