On Friday, in the morning, at the Old Museum, Brisbane Showgrounds, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, with Mrs de Jersey, presented prizes to the finalists and overall winner of the 2017 Royal Queensland Show School Scarecrow Competition, where the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Brisbane City Hall, the Governor attended the Queensland Rural, Regional and Remote Women’s Network’s Ekka High Tea and addressed guests.

Following, at St John’s Anglican Cathedral, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Anglican Schools Australia Conference Eucharist Service where His Excellency addressed guests.
