On Saturday, in the morning, at Parliament House, Brisbane City, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the official launch of the Parliament House Open Day to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Parliament House Building, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2018 Royal Queensland Show, and the Governor officially opened the show, addressed guests and viewed the Parade of Champions.
