On Friday, in the morning, at Springfield Central, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, with Mrs Kaye de Jersey, officially opened the Mater Private Hospital Springfield and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a briefing and lunch with the Springfield Land Corporation, and then undertook a tour of Greater Springfield.

 

Following, at Northbank Chambers, Brisbane, the Governor attended a Christmas function with past and present members of Chambers.

 

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey welcomed hundreds of members of the community to the first night of the 2015 Christmas Lights display.
