On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Supreme Court, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the annual ‘Christmas Greetings’ Ceremony for the Court and legal profession during which the newly appointed Queen’s Counsel announced their appointments.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Commissioner, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Commissioner Greg Leach.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted the Government House Community Christmas Lights viewing, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at City Hall, Brisbane City, His Excellency attended the annual ‘Silks Dinner’, where newly appointed Queen’s Counsel are recognised.
