On Wednesday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the launch of Parliamentary Inquiry into Volunteering Afternoon Tea, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the evening, at Customs House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended The Consular Corps of Queensland’s annual Christmas Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at Government House, members of Children’s Hospital Foundation visited to view the 2024 Government House Christmas Lights display.
