On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands the Honourable Rick Houenipwela and Madam Rachel Houenipwela, High Commissioner of Solomon Islands to Australia, His Excellency Mr Collin Beck, Secretary to the Prime Minister, Dr Jimmie Rodgers, and Permanent Secretary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Mr Peter Kenilorea Jnr.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception in honour of the Official Birthday of Her Majesty The Queen, and the Governor addressed guests.
