On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of Peninsula Palms Retirement Village visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency, received Ambassador of the United States of America to Australia, His Excellency Arthur B. Culvahouse Jr and Consul-General of the United States of America in New South Wales and Queensland, Ms Sharon Hudson-Dean.

Following, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of the Ambassador of the United States of America to Australia, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: His Excellency Mr Arthur B Culvahouse Jr, The Honourable Stirling Hinchliffe MP, The Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes, Mr Jarrod Bleijie MP, The Honourable Stephen Bredhauer, The Honourable Justice Andrew Greenwood, Major General Jake Ellwood DSC, His Grace the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall , Ms Sharon Hudson-Dean, Ms Rachel Hunter , Mr Chris Freeman AM, Dr Mark Ashton, Ms Alicia Doherty, Mr Wayne Gerard , Mr Andrew King, Ms Linda Lavarch, Mr Nick McKenna, Ms Gail Young, Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Robert Hastings APM.
