On Tuesday, in the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM visited and toured the Emmanuel City Mission in South Brisbane, meeting staff and volunteers. 

Following, in the evening, at Premiers’ and Speakers’ Hall, Parliament House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Local Government Association of Queensland Local Connections: A Mayoral Networking Event, and the Governor addressed guests.
